Happy New Year!
"And
now
let us
welcome
the new year,
full of things
that have
never been."
--Rilke
Jack: Those organists!! Have fond memories of the boys singing Gerry's work at St Peter's! Ah, the remembered glory of the young choral scholars! And wonderful parties across the street!
Kitti: Going back even before the chorister days -- you will recognize these silver star balloons from New Year's Day 1995.
Jack: Yes!! When Mylar balloons were a new thing? Left-over from a boathouse party, I believe? Nothing like child-like wonder! We should do our best to hang onto that!
