Heaven

(small original acrylic painted by my friend Dot Menard in 1975)

"MY ONLY SKETCH, PROFILE OF HEAVEN IS A LARGE BLUE SKY,
LARGER THAN THE BIGGEST I HAVE SEEN IN JUNE --
AND IN IT ARE MY FRIENDS -- ALL OF THEM --
EVERY ONE OF THEM."
~Emily Dickinson (1830 -86) reclusive American Poet

The Butterfly upon the Sky,
That doesn't know its Name
And hasn't any tax to pay
And hasn't any Home
Is just as high as you and I,
And higher, I believe,
So soar away and never sigh
And that's the way to grieve --
