Psithurism

Thanks to my friend Ruth
for sharing this amazing and
mysterious "word for the day."

I swear, I heard this sound last week,
going for a walk in the neighborhood.
I actually turned around and looked over
my shoulder, thinking it was a truck,
but no! The sound came from above,
from inside the boughs of the tree!

And the thought suddenly came to me,
"What was the word that Ruth posted about?
This is it!" ~ Psithurism!

We also saw this amazing tree along the way,
a visual delight!
Look at that blue sky!
Yes, even in January ~ 50F!
